About Us:

At Wayfair, our internal technology teams are dedicated to strategizing, executing, and delivering complex, cross-functional solutions aimed at enhancing the employee experience across our organization. We oversee a wide range of initiatives, from onboarding processes to productivity tools, asset management, and in-office experiences. Our mission is to address the evolving technology needs of our employees by ensuring a seamless support experience.

We are in search of an experienced Product Manager to oversee a suite of technologies currently deployed, identify areas for improvement, and create a strategic roadmap to enhance productivity and experience metrics. This role requires collaboration with diverse teams and leaders, including operations, engineering, and analytics, to define the capabilities necessary for effective operations while innovating our customer and supplier interactions.

The ideal candidate will operate with significant autonomy and responsibility, establishing a clear vision for the platform, fostering strong relationships with senior cross-functional partners, and aligning on a unified vision for success. You will translate business and user requirements into a practical and iterative strategy and roadmap, providing detailed specifications and user stories for engineering teams, and making informed trade-offs between time and complexity to develop viable market solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee self-service tools and workflows, minimizing friction for employees while enhancing resolution quality and maintaining efficiency metrics.
  • Manage cross-functional IT initiatives and collaborate with technology teams to bring solutions to fruition, including system migrations and operational management.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for your products, leveraging over 3 years of experience with employee productivity tools.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leaders, being their primary contact for product strategy and related initiatives.
  • Evaluate feature requests based on business value and impact, balancing risks and development costs.
  • Stay informed on market trends regarding new products and design patterns, conducting analyses to determine when new solutions can enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure comprehensive delivery of platform enhancements and ongoing support.
  • Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap, keeping stakeholders informed of primary goals and timelines.
  • Convert product strategies into actionable engineering stories, enabling teams to execute your ideas effectively.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on goals and progress to maintain transparency regarding your work and product development.
  • Identify digital friction points and devise solutions to enhance employee productivity and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management for operational or employee-focused technologies, with a proven track record of achieving measurable KPIs.
  • Experience in crafting exceptional employee experiences that boost productivity while reducing operational costs, with a focus on automation and machine learning solutions.
  • Strong skills in measuring adoption and engagement metrics, with the ability to develop strategies to address user experience challenges.
  • Proficient in SQL for data analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated technical acumen, capable of developing high-level system architectures.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups and manage several large initiatives concurrently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to formulate hypotheses and prioritize work based on potential impact.
  • Experience working with engineering teams, including managing sprints and backlogs.
  • Proven ability to establish a senior presence and lead product initiatives.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and ITSM tools for ticket management and service catalogs.

Why Choose Wayfair:

  • Comprehensive Time Off: Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Sick Days.
  • Life Insurance and Disability Protection.
  • Global Wellbeing Programs: Discounts on fitness memberships.
