Team and Role Overview:

As a Product Manager focusing on Buyer Experience at eBay, you will engage with our Focus Categories, which encompass Fashion, Collectibles, and Parts & Accessories. This position is part of the team responsible for the Item Details page and necessitates close collaboration with Product Managers overseeing Focus Categories. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including design, analytics, engineering, and user research, to pinpoint and prioritize enhancements to the buyer experience.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritize enhancements to the buyer experience within Focus Categories by collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and understanding buyer requirements.
  • Lead experiments to validate hypotheses and discover solutions that enhance conversion rates and user engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with overarching business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with design, engineering, and analytics teams to conceptualize, develop, and launch product features that drive growth and user engagement.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of product features and experiments.
  • Effectively communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or strategy consulting, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
  • Experience in conducting experiments to validate hypotheses and identify solutions that enhance conversion rates and user engagement.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in an agile development environment, delivering products iteratively.
