Senior Real Estate Development Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Real Estate Development to lead our real estate initiatives and drive the growth of our senior living portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the planning, development, and densification of new senior living projects, including land sourcing and acquisition, development, redevelopment, and construction management.
- Manage various consultants, directing building plans, project plans, legal documents, financial analysis, and submissions in accordance with project schedules.
- Prepare and manage schedules for delivery of projects, including municipal approval timelines, construction durations, and opening/permitting.
- Lead largescale, multimillion-dollar real estate development projects from start to finish, ensuring regulatory compliance, timely delivery, and budget adherence.
- At least 15 years of experience in real estate, covering areas like acquisitions and dispositions, land development, and operations.
- Background in senior housing, hotels, or multiresidential projects.
- Degree in Business Administration, Urban Planning, Real Estate, Economics, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and engage team members effectively.
- Experience obtaining municipal approvals, including zoning, site plans, variances, land conveyance, and land valuation.
- Working knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Proven track record in conducting project feasibility assessments and due diligence, including creating project proformas.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Able to travel as needed for the role.
