This is a Permanent Part-Time position offering approximately 30 hours per week.

As a new Recreation Team Member, your responsibilities will include:

  • Holding a diploma or degree in recreation/leisure studies and/or gerontology from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrating a compassionate and respectful demeanor towards residents, families, and colleagues

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are considered an ASSET:

  • Experience in organizing and leading group activities and programs
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and collaborate within a team
  • Commitment to fostering a resident-centered social environment and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Understanding of the five domains in Therapeutic Recreation that enhance individual health
  • Familiarity with recreational therapy practices and techniques aimed at improving residents' overall well-being
