Role Overview: The Plan Member Administration team is seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic, flexible, and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary contact for Plan Member Administration regarding Traditional Corporate New Issue implementations; responsible for collecting, reviewing, and verifying client eligibility data for electronic data uploads.
- Oversee ongoing eligibility data throughout the warranty period; develop and implement electronic eligibility files in collaboration with clients via regular communication and spreadsheets.
- Manage amendments for traditional Corporate clients; assess specific changes, determine appropriate actions, and update eligibility data accordingly.
- Confidently input and generate reports on member data across various administrative platforms.
- Provide technical and administrative assistance to other departments as required.
- Engage in troubleshooting and problem-solving to address client concerns.
- Collaborate with the IS team on data/system issues and assist with testing support.
Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Supervisor, PMA, and is accountable for managing eligibility data for traditional Corporate client implementations and facilitating eligibility requirements for Corporate amendments within Plan Member Administration.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a technical capacity, preferably involving the review and manipulation of extensive data files.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, particularly with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong customer service background with a focus on relationship building—both internally and externally.
- Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Prior experience with Group Benefits and related products is advantageous.
