Finance Transformation Manager - Cloud ERP Solutions

At Salesforce, we are committed to redefining the future of business through innovative technology and exceptional customer experiences. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our Finance Transformation and Cloud ERP team, focusing on the Quote to Cash & Indirect Tax domains.

Your Role: As a key member of the Quote to Cash & Indirect Tax value stream, you will:

  • Operate in a dynamic, high-growth setting with challenging timelines and competing priorities.
  • Possess a robust understanding of global and localized Billing, Credit, Collections, and Cash Applications processes, including Compliance and Data requirements.
  • Have a clear grasp of tax processes related to Quote to Cash (Q2C) and Source to Pay (S2P), emphasizing Tax Compliance Requirements.
  • Exhibit creativity and critical thinking to challenge existing norms and envision innovative solutions within the Salesforce and Workday ecosystems.
  • Collaborate across functional teams to identify dependencies and address risks associated with various projects.
  • Build strong business partnerships and maintain effective communication across Sales, Tax, Controllership, Revenue Operations, IT, and Compliance organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate testing efforts, including unit and end-to-end testing, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Engage with business partners across various teams to fulfill business requirements.
  • Represent the business perspective in collaboration with integrators and technology teams.
  • Assist in delivering scalable, secure, and flexible solutions through collaboration with business advisors.
  • Develop future processes leveraging Salesforce and Workday functionalities.
  • Provide insights for Q2C/IDT based on process knowledge and future state vision.
  • Identify and prioritize Q2C/IDT use cases to enhance business value.
  • Communicate project status to cross-functional teams and management.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving reporting and analytical tools.
  • Design and implement controls to enhance our compliance environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work with remote teams and partners.
  • A degree or equivalent experience is required, with evaluation based on relevant skills and experiences.
  • Minimum of 3 years of operational experience in managing Quote to Cash and Indirect Tax processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are crucial.
  • Experience in large-scale ERP systems and SOX control design is preferred.
  • Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptability and openness to change in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Revenue Billing, Workday Financials, Vertex, and Salesforce.
