About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Carisma Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious pastry dishes that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new pastry menus that showcase our restaurant's commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Recipe Creation: Develop and refine recipes for a wide range of pastry dishes, including desserts, breads, and pastries.
  • Food Cost Control: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor junior pastry staff to develop their skills and knowledge, and provide guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed to ensure that our pastry department is well-stocked and equipped to meet customer demand.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all food safety and quality standards to ensure the health and well-being of our customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
