About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at La Luce Ristorante. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious pastry dishes that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new pastry menus that showcase our Italian cuisine.
  • Pastry Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present high-quality pastry dishes, including desserts, breads, and pastries, that meet our restaurant's standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train our pastry team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our pastry inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies, to ensure we have the necessary ingredients to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all pastry dishes meet our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a physically demanding work setting
  • Work Setting: Restaurant in an urban area
