Director of Client Services

Lumenus Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Client Services to lead our client services programs. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operations of our programs, ensuring they deliver high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Direction and Planning: Assist in the development of strategic direction and goals for client services programs, in accordance with Lumenus' overall strategic direction and goals.
- Financial Management: Assume accountability for sound financial management and appropriate financial controls for the programs.
- Communication: Utilize effective communication strategies to facilitate the smooth operation of the programs.
- Operations and Programs: Supervise the managers in client services, providing mentorship and coaching toward skill development.
- Master of Social Work or Equivalent: A Master of Social Work or equivalent education and experience with 10 years or more directly related leadership experience.
- Membership in Professional Regulated College: Membership in the appropriate professional regulated college in order to provide the requisite oversight for the act of psychotherapy.
- Research and Outcomes Management Evaluation: Experience in research and outcomes management evaluation.
- Clinical Experience: Minimum five years of clinical experience in counselling or related clinical expertise.
- Managerial Experience: Minimum five years of experience in a managerial role.
- Expertise in Strengths-Based Approaches: Expertise in strengths-based, systemically oriented, anti-oppressive, culturally responsive, and relationally based approaches.
- Knowledge of Relevant Legislation and Regulations: Knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Research and Evaluation Skills: Research/evaluation/quality improvement skills.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills that include motivation, delegation, coaching/mentoring, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
