Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Donor Relations Specialist to join our team on a temporary full-time basis (18 months). In this role, you will play a crucial part in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our valued donors.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager to implement stewardship plans and manage workflow efficiently.
- Work effectively with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely creation and review of donor-related materials.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss upcoming campaigns, strategies, and donor engagement initiatives.
- Proactively manage production issues with vendors and ensure prompt resolution of any challenges.
- Assist in developing the department's stewardship calendar and handle day-to-day communications and reporting related to donor relations.
Qualifications
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Fundraising is required.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in fundraising, marketing, or project management within a non-profit setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving and project management skills.
- Proficiency in digital or direct marketing strategies and channels.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Conditions
- Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment screening process is mandatory.
- Fluency in English is essential.
