Grants Officer

Job Summary:
The Grants Officer is a key member of the Fundraising and Public Relations team at Good Shepherd Ministries. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and executing fundraising activities, identifying and soliciting grants and sponsorships to support the organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with donors and stakeholders to provide timely and effective responses to fundraising inquiries.
- Research and identify potential corporate and foundation funders to develop new donor relationships.
- Develop and write compelling proposals and applications to secure funding.
- Ensure all reporting requirements are met to sustain and strengthen partnerships.
- Develop recognition programs to acknowledge donor support.
- Produce impact reports for funders.
- Analyze grant and sponsorship patterns to inform fundraising strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three years of fundraising experience with a proven track record of success.
- Superior written communication skills to produce proposals and other correspondence.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to inform fundraising strategies.
