Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Laboratory Services to oversee the operation of our laboratory and health services centers in multiple locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team, ensuring excellent customer care, and driving continuous improvement in our services.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team of laboratory professionals, ensuring excellent customer care and a positive work environment.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the efficient operation of laboratory and health services centers, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Customer Focus: Foster a customer-centric environment, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and support.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze and improve workflow processes to ensure consistency and quality in the delivery of services.
- Financial Management: Develop and administer regional operating budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Health and Safety: Promote and champion a healthy and safe work environment, participating in and implementing health and safety programs and activities.
- Education: Post-secondary education in Healthcare, Science, or Business.
- Experience: 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Skills: Proficient computer skills, Lean Six Sigma and/or Change Management training, and excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Leadership: Experienced people manager with the ability to develop talent and build high-performing teams.
- Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and non-management.
