Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner - Ottawa Dental Laboratory Inc.

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Ottawa Dental Laboratory Inc. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and tidy workspace
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our patients
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our patients
  • Stock linen closets to ensure a clean and efficient workflow
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service
  • Provide basic information on facilities to our patients and staff
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
  • Clean windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:

  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling to perform cleaning duties
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking to perform cleaning duties
  • Experience an asset, but not required
  • Permanent position with 32.5 hours per week
  • English language required
