Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Personal and Business Banking division, you will operate in a vibrant Banking Centre, where your efforts will positively influence our clients' financial journeys. In your role as a Financial Services Consultant, you will actively engage with clients, utilizing CIBC's premier mobile and online banking solutions to recommend tailored products and services that promote their financial well-being. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential, as is the ability to serve multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

How You Will Excel

  • Client Engagement: Meet with clients to comprehend their personal and business objectives, offering advice and crafting forward-thinking financial strategies. Leverage your expertise in technology, cash management, credit, investment, and wealth protection to assist clients in achieving their goals.
  • Building Relationships: Participate in marketing and outreach initiatives to demonstrate your commitment to clients and their communities. Expand your network, deepen existing connections, and collaborate as a cohesive team to ensure clients are linked to the appropriate resources and opportunities.
  • Utilizing Technology: Become proficient in technology. Share your insights by guiding clients through our mobile banking applications, enhancing their ability to manage their banking needs effectively.

  • Certified: You hold current accreditation and are in good standing with a Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).
