Type: Full-Time Sales Position

Compensation: Base Salary + Commission + Bonuses (Potential Earnings: $40,000 - $50,000+)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated professional to fill the role of Insurance & Financial Services Sales Consultant at Charon Clute Insurance Agency Inc. This position is ideal for a dynamic individual who is passionate about contributing to our agency's growth through meaningful interactions and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess client needs, and promote suitable products and services.
  • Collaborate with the agent and fellow team members to achieve and surpass defined sales objectives.
  • Address client inquiries and issues regarding coverages, policy modifications, claims, billing, and more.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • OTL or RIBO and/or LLQP License preferred, but not mandatory at the time of the interview.
  • OTL must be acquired before the start date at the applicant's expense, with reimbursement from the employer upon meeting specific employment criteria.
  • LLQP must be obtained within three months of starting employment.
  • Prior sales experience (whether in outside sales, inside sales, retail, or telemarketing) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capable of delivering presentations to prospective clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as part of the employment process.

This position is with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries.
