Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Investment Advisor. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, providing personalized financial advice, and developing customized investment strategies to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a client base of high net worth individuals, families, and businesses and manage their complex financial needs
  • Leverage your investment expertise to create customized wealth management and investment services for clients
  • Foster trusted, long-term relationships with clients using personalized service and advice
  • Establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners, such as Personal & Commercial Banking, Insurance, etc.

Requirements:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in financial services. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4-6 years of outbound sales experience and a proven track record of success in a commission-based environment
  • Completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A strong understanding of financial markets and investment products
  • Self-motivation, integrity, and a commitment to a career in financial services

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience in a direct marketing role, financial services, and high-value sales and business development
  • Completed the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), Personal Financial Planner (PFP), and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM)
