Position Overview:

As a Wealth Protection Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assisting High Net Worth (HNW) clients in enhancing their financial strategies through tailored insurance solutions. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering exceptional financial planning and protection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive life insurance sales and manage client relationships throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial engagement to ongoing service excellence.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies that align with client financial objectives, fostering business growth and client retention.
  • Collaborate with various departments within TD Wealth to assess client needs and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Engage with insurance carriers to deepen your understanding of their offerings, enabling you to provide high-value recommendations to clients and financial planners.
  • Advocate for the advantages of Wealth Protection solutions, presenting a comprehensive range of products and services.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
  • Propose best practices to optimize processes and operations, leveraging insights into market dynamics.
  • Contribute positively to team dynamics, sharing expertise and supporting enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree is advantageous.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in the Canadian life insurance sector, preferably in sales, along with relevant certifications such as CFP, CLU, or CHFC.
  • Must hold a valid Life Insurance license.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
