The Role: We are seeking a remarkable Bilingual Investment Representative to join our Contact Centre team. Our mission is to empower Canadians towards financial independence by providing a supportive, informative, and timely service that surpasses industry standards.

In this role, you will ensure that our clients receive outstanding service. This position is distinct from typical Call Centre roles, as we hold our team in high regard.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Addressing inquiries through phone, email, or chat regarding Qtrade Direct Investing (QDI) products and services.
  • Managing order processing for online trading from self-directed clients.
  • Resolving issues and complaints by initiating investigations and conducting follow-ups.
  • Staying informed about market trends that may influence clients' investment choices.
  • Identifying and proposing process enhancements.
  • Understanding and applying departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive demeanor and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities in both English and French.
  • Preferred post-secondary education in business or economics.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH).
  • Options Licensing Course & Derivatives Fundamentals Course required within 6 months of hire.
  • Three years of relevant experience in the financial services sector.
  • Securities registration as an Investment Representative within the last two years is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
