Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Sunhouse Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
- Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use and ordering.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent cooking skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills.
- Work Conditions: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
