Pension Administration Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Administration Specialist to join our team at WTW. As a key member of our retirement services team, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of recurring defined benefit plan administration services for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact to clients on delivery of services, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Review and deliverables of junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Raise issues as appropriate to senior consultants, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Enhance expertise in retirement plan design and administration, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Contribute to special projects, leveraging skills and experience to drive business growth and improvement.
- Prepare moderately complex benefits calculations and trust instructions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collect, manipulate, reconcile, and review participant data, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Resolve more complex plan provision questions and issues surfaced by clients and colleagues, providing expert guidance and support.
- Create internal administration manuals for clients, ensuring clear and concise documentation.
- Follow and update documentation materials as directed, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Employ Towers Watson's Professional Excellence tools and concepts to ensure efficient and quality output/service delivery.
- Adhere to plan documents and government regulations in administering plans, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain complete and accurate work papers and audit trails, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Manage and coach team members to ensure progress against established budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations, driving business growth and improvement.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency within client teams, implementing process improvements and best practices.
- Develop and train less experienced team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
