Human Resources Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Human Resources Assistant to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for handling a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to employees regarding human resources activities, policies, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage employee database archives
  • Develop new employee on-boarding orientation materials
  • Manage a number of administrative duties
  • Explore the internet to track down potential customers
Requirements:
  • HR related experience desired
  • Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Full Cycle Recruiting
  • Office Administration experience preferred
  • Foundational knowledge in interviewing
  • Proficiency in customer service
  • Onboarding experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Conduct Reference Checks
  • General familiarity with Absence Management
  • Adeptness in sourcing recruitment
  • Practical knowledge of data entry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proficiency with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Highly professional and able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
