Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Human Resources Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the HR department, you will be responsible for handling a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to employees regarding human resources activities, policies, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage employee database archives and maintain accurate records.
  2. Develop new employee onboarding orientation materials and ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  3. Manage a range of administrative duties, including data entry and document preparation.
Requirements:
  1. Desirable experience in HR-related roles.
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong drive to take on various tasks and projects.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of Full Cycle Recruiting and its best practices.
  4. Office Administration experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Foundational knowledge of interviewing techniques and principles.
  6. Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  7. Onboarding experience and ability to create engaging orientation programs.
  8. Demonstrated knowledge of Conduct Reference Checks and Absence Management procedures.
  9. General familiarity with sourcing recruitment strategies and techniques.
  10. Practical knowledge of data entry and proficiency in office applications and software, including Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in all interactions.
