Office Coordinator

The Administrative Operations Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office at PARKSIDE LIQUOR BEER & WINE. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks that support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Administrative Tasks: Coordinate and arrange seminars and conferences, manage budgets and expenditures, and supervise and train staff.
- Document Management: Record and prepare minutes for meetings, seminars, and conferences.
- Office Procedures: Establish and oversee office routines and procedures.
- Recruitment: Plan and implement recruitment strategies, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage contracts.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic inquiries.
- Support Management: Provide advice to senior management and respond to employee inquiries and complaints.
- Inventory Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Negotiation: Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of the organization.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll processes and administration.
- Customer Service: Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate contacts or service areas.
- Documentation: Type and proofread correspondence and other documents, perform data entry, and maintain a digital database.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and supervise office and volunteer staff.
- Project Coordination: Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs, ensuring efficient daily operations.
This role involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
Experience RequirementsApplicants should have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in an administrative capacity.
