About Kaiser Haus Wine Bar & Bistro

We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
    • Plan and execute menu items, including food preparation, presentation, and plating.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of cooks, kitchen staff, and other culinary personnel.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure that our team members are equipped to deliver exceptional service and quality food.
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Manage inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment, to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to meet our financial goals.
  • Quality Control and Food Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Implement and maintain food safety protocols and procedures to prevent contamination and foodborne illness.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that our guests receive a memorable dining experience.
    • Build and maintain relationships with our guests, including regular communication and feedback.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent culinary skills, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
