Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Sahara Courtyard Inn (1995) Ltd. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets for the housekeeping department, ensuring that costs are controlled and expenses are minimized.
- Recommend Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Assist with Cleaning Duties: Provide support to housekeeping staff as needed, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the housekeeping team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of success in supervising and developing a team.
- Housekeeping Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of housekeeping practices and procedures, including cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and other departments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and implement effective strategies.
