The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities at Sahara Courtyard Inn (1995) Ltd.. This position involves overseeing the cleaning staff and ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced setting, including hotels, motels, and resorts, and must be able to manage tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and manage cleaning personnel.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for housekeeping operations.
- Recommend and arrange for additional services such as repairs and renovations.
- Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed.
- Coordinate work schedules and activities with other departments.
This role involves supervising a team of approximately 3-4 individuals.
