About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Sahara Courtyard Inn (1995) Ltd. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our hotel rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets for housekeeping supplies and services, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Recommend Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting or repairs, and recommend solutions to management.
  • Assist with Cleaning Duties: Assist housekeeping staff with their duties as needed, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring that we are adequately staffed to meet guest demands.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You will have a proven track record of leading a team and driving results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment
  • Supervision: 3-4 people
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability
