About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Sahara Courtyard Inn (1995) Ltd. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our hotel rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Prepare Budgets and Estimates: Develop and manage budgets for housekeeping supplies and services, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the housekeeping team, ensuring that we have adequate coverage at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role in housekeeping or a related field
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team development
