About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Sahara Courtyard Inn (1995) Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure exceptional service standards.
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare Budgets: Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Coordinate Services: Arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, and renovations as required.
  • Assist with Cleaning: Provide support to cleaning staff as needed to ensure tasks are completed.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Establish Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
