About the Role

As a Financial Services Associate at IG Wealth Management, you will play a vital role in supporting our Senior Financial Advisors and their teams in delivering exceptional client experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support in the financial planning process, ensuring that clients receive tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gathering and Inputting Client Data: You will be responsible for collecting and entering client information into our financial planning software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Preparing Presentations: You will assist in preparing presentations for client meetings, helping to ensure that our advisors are well-prepared to deliver exceptional service.
  • Updating Client Plans: You will be responsible for updating client plans and monitoring changes as circumstances evolve, ensuring that our advisors have the most up-to-date information to provide informed advice.
  • Identifying Opportunities: You will work closely with our advisors to identify opportunities to deepen and solidify client relationships, exploring ways to provide additional value and services.
  • Assisting with Client Files: You will assist in preparing prospect or client files prior to meetings, ensuring that all necessary information is readily available.
  • Joint Client Meetings: You will work alongside our Senior Financial Advisors to meet with clients, providing support and ensuring that our advisors have the necessary information to deliver exceptional service.
  • Processing New Business: You will assist in processing new business, including completing and submitting applications, ensuring that our advisors have the necessary support to grow our practice.
  • Formulating Recommendations: You will work with our advisors to formulate recommendations for clients, providing input and support to ensure that our advisors have the best possible information to deliver informed advice.
  • Tracking Active Tasks: You will be responsible for tracking active tasks or projects, ensuring that our advisors have the necessary support to bring projects to completion.
Requirements
  • Business Administration Diploma: You will possess a Business Administration Diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant business discipline.
  • Financial Planning Experience: You will have experience in a role involving financial planning and using financial planning software.
  • Strong Computer Skills: You will have strong computer skills in the MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact with clients.
  • Customer Service Orientation: You will have a customer service orientation, with a demonstrated ability to work with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: You will have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
