Senior Manager

At Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager - Application Development to join our Enterprise Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing solution delivery, ensuring stable operations, and providing strategic partnership, production support, and project execution to retail branches across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and delivery of enterprise-level applications, ensuring high-quality banking applications.
- Develop and implement technology strategies, aligning with business objectives and industry trends.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, guidelines, and controls, applying them fairly and consistently.
- Develop and coach team members, providing knowledge sharing, collaboration, and effective problem-solving.
- Proven experience in leading Application Development teams, using new and emerging technologies such as SAS, Informatica, Syncsort, Oracle, and Cloud-native.
- Strong technical acumen, with experience in development, testing, and implementation of complex systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present complex information in an articulate manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and technical experts.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices is an asset.
