Job Title: Line Cook

Foodco is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet quality and presentation standards
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet customer demands and quality standards

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment

Foodco is a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will be working in a supermarket/grocery store setting, interacting with customers and staff to provide excellent customer service.
