Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Elyon African Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare and present high-quality dishes.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and execute special events and banquets.
  • Ensure that all food meets our quality standards and is presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen operations and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading kitchen operations and improving culinary offerings.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
