Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1166667 B.C. Ltd. as a key member of our restaurant operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
- Food Quality Control: Ensure that all food meets quality control standards, including portion control, presentation, and taste.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Staff Training: Train new staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and lifting.
