Senior Manager, Customer Value Insights, Canadian Banking Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Customer Value Insights team in Canadian Banking. As a key member of our Retail Banking Strategy team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability through data-driven insights and strategic support.
Key Responsibilities- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Manage, coach, and provide mentorship to direct reports.
- Provide business insight and strategic support to stakeholders, collaborating with business teams to draw insights from key customer and financial data.
- Effectively champion data-driven decision making, creating and showcasing analytics solutions and dashboards to help teams and business partners make fact-based decisions.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles.
- 5+ years of experience in Banking, Reporting, Analytics, and Strategy, Finance.
- Experience in working with and manipulating large data sets.
- Very strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to be proactive with strong presentation and written communication skills.
- Strong facilitation skills with proven accomplishments leading cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and functions with changing demands.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a flair for getting things done.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- A curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
