Job Description

**Procurement Team Lead**

DIRTT Environmental Solutions Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Lead Procurement Activities**: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our company's manufacturing and operational goals.
  • **Supplier Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective supply chains.
  • **Contract Negotiation**: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcomes for the company.
  • **Procurement Process Improvement**: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • **Category Management**: Manage multiple categories, including procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for production.
  • **Reporting and Analysis**: Create reports and presentations that reflect market trends, supplier pricing, and industry conditions to optimize procurement activities.
  • **Inventory Management**: Work closely with inventory and production teams to manage stock levels, ensuring the availability of materials while minimizing excess inventory.
  • **Sustainability Initiatives**: Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall supply chain performance, including sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
  • **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • **Experience**: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • **Certifications**: Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification is an advantage.
  • **Skills**: Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiation. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • **Software**: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel - VLOOKUP and pivot tables), Word, PowerPoint.
