About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a PlayON Instructor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality play-based programming to children and youth in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive play-based programs that promote physical activity, socialization, and learning.
  • Build strong relationships with children, youth, and families, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver programs that meet the needs of our community.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining records and reporting.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children and youth, preferably in a recreation or education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Current Standard First Aid/CPR C certification.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays and evenings.
