Job Summary

The YMCA of Greater Toronto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of PlayON Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of instructors in the delivery of high-quality play-based programs for children and youth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of instructors in the delivery of play-based programs
  • Develop and implement quality recreation-based programs that meet the needs of our community
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive playspace for all participants
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet community needs
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members

Requirements

  • Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education in a related field
  • Previous experience supervising staff and working with children and youth
  • Current Standard First Aid/CPR C certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
