Cluster General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Banff Collection by InnVest Hotels. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of one of our hotels, working closely with the Cluster General Manager to ensure seamless execution across all departments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all departments, with a focus on Front Office Operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Act as a representative of the management team, interacting with hotel guests, employees, and community members in a professional and courteous manner.
- Implement and maintain all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and market share, staying up-to-date on local competition and market trends.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and other controls, ensuring accurate reporting and financial management.
- Fill in for vacant shifts as needed and perform General Manager functions in their absence, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and other administrative tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies, driving growth and profitability.
- Proven experience in hotel operations, with a strong background in personnel supervision, recruitment, training, and motivation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, staff, and owners.
- Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and hotel operations, with a strong understanding of financial management and reporting.
- Ability to work a variety of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
