Job Summary:

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled Cage Supervisor to oversee the daily cage and main bank operations at our Pickering Casino Resort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our gaming floor, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily cage and main bank operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
  • Assist with the hiring, training, and development of cage staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, ownership, team members, vendors, and regulators, ensuring a safe and welcoming work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the casino.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as business or finance.
  • One or more years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a gaming or financial institution.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, managerial skills, and familiarity with high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Working knowledge of computer software and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
