Great Canadian Entertainment is looking for two (2) Full-time Cage Operations Supervisors

Under the guidance of the Cage and Coin Manager, this role will be accountable for managing the daily operations of the cage and main bank. Your strong presence on the gaming floor will be essential for effectively managing personnel and engaging with Guests while providing outstanding Guest Service. You will ensure adherence to the regulations set forth by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and all relevant laws, policies, and procedures. As a role model, you will exemplify integrity, respect, and accountability, aiding in the hiring, training, assessment, recognition, and growth of your team.

You will contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment for all staff members. Inspire and lead by example while fostering a culture of learning. Ensure compliance with all established policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities, executing the following in alignment with the company's vision, mission, and values:

  • Managing the daily operations of the cage and main bank
  • Assisting in the hiring, training, assessment, recognition, and development of team members
  • Building and nurturing strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, team members, vendors, and regulators.
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Adhering to the regulations of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and all applicable laws, policies, and procedures
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a leadership capacity
  • Strong mathematical skills, managerial abilities, and familiarity with a high-volume, fast-paced, shift-work environment
  • Proficient in computer software with the capability to learn new systems
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
  • Capacity to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.

Candidates must be prepared to work at both locations, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts. Work hours and location will be determined based on operational requirements. Ready to take the next step in your career?
