Cafeteria Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cafeteria Supervisor to join our team at SNB Ferry Cafe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our cafeteria, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Develop and implement efficient systems and processes to manage food preparation, inventory, and supplies.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent service and maintain high-quality food standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in initiatives that support the settlement and integration of newcomers and refugees, including providing assistance with immediate settlement needs and facilitating access to community resources.
- Support for Youth: Participate in programs that support youth employment, offer on-the-job training, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in initiatives that support Indigenous people, provide cultural competency training, and facilitate access to Elders for support and guidance.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Permanent work term
- 30 to 36 hours per week
- English language
