About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cafeteria Cashier to join our team at SNB Ferry Cafe. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating our cash register, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a food service or retail environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point of sale system
