About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cafeteria Cashier to join our team at SNB Ferry Cafe. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register with accuracy and efficiency, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions.
  • Process Payments for food and beverages, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly and efficiently.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Greet Customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Provide Support for Newcomers and Refugees by participating in community programs and initiatives that support settlement and integration.
  • Support for Youths by participating in government or community programs that support youth employment and providing on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People by participating in programs that support Indigenous people and providing cultural competency training to all employees.
