Position: Culinary Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee kitchen and dining service operations
- Direct meal preparation and service activities
- Coordinate staff for efficient meal production
- Manage food service processes and inventory
- Lead workforce and enforce health and safety standards
Impact and Skills:
- Evaluate financial metrics related to menu pricing and procurement
- Demonstrate effective cost control and leadership abilities
- Exhibit strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Possess knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Thrive in a diverse work environment
- Maintain composure under pressure
- Showcase excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
- Experience in managing personnel
Qualifications:
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience
- Chef certification (Red Seal) is advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years in kitchen management roles
- Proficient in computer applications
- Background in inventory oversight and scheduling
