Culinary Operations Supervisor

As a Culinary Operations Supervisor at ALIMENTATIONS BSD INC., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service team. Your leadership will ensure that our culinary standards are met and that our staff is well-trained and efficient.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
This position is based in a restaurant setting, where you will manage a team of food service professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
- Recruit and hire food service personnel
- Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
- Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Compile and submit reports as required
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef
- Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary specialties
- Oversee the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 individuals.
Security and SafetyA criminal record check is required for this position.
Transportation and TravelHaving your own transportation is necessary for this role.
Work ConditionsThis position involves a fast-paced environment where you will need to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You should be prepared for a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with extended periods of standing and attention to detail.
