As the Team Lead for Enrolment, reporting directly to the Associate Registrar, you will oversee the effective management, organization, and development of a dynamic and trusted Enrolment team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities that align with NorQuest College's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Unit Supervision and Team Leadership

  • Lead and cultivate the Enrolment team to fulfill departmental goals and contribute to the college's mission.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, evaluation, and development of team members.
  • Establish and communicate performance expectations to meet operational objectives.
  • Monitor service standards and enrolment activity processing.
  • Evaluate unit activities to identify trends and address concerns.
  • Ensure effective team dynamics and resolve human resources challenges.
  • Manage the integrity of student records and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Lead registration processes each term and ensure accurate communications.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for the Office of the Registrar.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and identify recurring enrolment issues.

Continuous Process Improvement

  • Oversee processes related to student account accuracy and outstanding accounts.
  • Collaborate with financial administrators to enhance payment processes.
  • Develop and implement business practices in conjunction with other administrative units.
  • Coordinate testing of new initiatives and systems for the team.
  • Research and investigate best practices in post-secondary enrolment.

Internal Stakeholder Engagement

  • Foster effective relationships with internal stakeholders to support student needs.
  • Collaborate with program areas to enhance enrolment activities.
  • Organize training sessions on technology tools and systems.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, or Education is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a post-secondary environment.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and team-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

COMPENSATION: Salary range is $61,635 - $80,033 annually, based on education and experience. We offer two full-time permanent positions with access to comprehensive pension and benefits programs.
