Park Paving Ltd. is a leading road construction contractor in Edmonton, seeking a seasoned Excavation Team Supervisor to join our Excavation Services team.
This is a full-time seasonal position with a winter work opportunity of reduced hours of up to 32 hours per week. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of skilled operators, ensuring that all excavation and removals projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Proven track record of managing excavation projects, including municipal rehabilitation and new development projects.
- Extensive knowledge of excavation techniques, including earthworks, demolition, and remediation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in excavation work.
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize activities and allocate resources effectively.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and possess a strong drive to contribute to the team's success. They will also be able to maintain a safety-minded and high-accountability work culture, while working with direct supervisors and other employees to maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
