About MPE Engineering Ltd.

MPE Engineering Ltd. is a leading provider of electrical engineering services, specializing in commercial and industrial projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects. This will include:

  • Designing and developing electrical systems, including power distribution and emergency backup systems
  • Creating electrical system models using SKM software
  • Coordinating with project teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements
  • Providing technical input and direction to junior staff
  • Leading and coordinating small projects

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A diploma or degree in a relevant discipline
  • Eligibility for professional membership with APEGA (P.Eng.) or ASET (P.Tech.(Eng.)
  • Experience in AutoCAD and Revit drafting
  • Experience in electrical system building design, including power distribution and emergency backup systems
  • Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical consulting

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Basic drafting experience in Revit
  • A good understanding of electrical design, installation, and code requirements of electrical systems in buildings
  • The ability to lead and coordinate small projects
