Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at MPE Engineering. This role requires a strong background in electrical systems design, with a focus on commercial, industrial, and municipal electrical and controls.
The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, eligibility for professional membership with APEGA (P.Eng.) or ASET (P.Tech.(Eng.)), and experience in AutoCAD and Revit drafting. They will also have a solid understanding of electrical system modeling, power distribution, and emergency backup systems.
Responsibilities will include leading and coordinating small projects, providing technical input and direction, and mentoring junior staff. The successful candidate will be part of a team of engineers and technologists, working on detailed design, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
